According to preliminary reports from the Police, to which the local newspaper ‘Vijesti’ has had access, a 34-year-old man began to open fire indiscriminately against several people in the Medovina neighborhood before another citizen shot him dead. , as explained by the prosecutor Andrijana Nastic to ‘Vijesti’.

The incident, which occurred near the Government House, has added a police officer among the injured, who has also been transferred to the Montenegrin Clinical Center in stable condition.

The aforementioned media outlet, Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, will go to the area to visit the injured in hospital together with other local and national authorities.

The Montenegrin government has declared three days of mourning from this Saturday and until Monday, according to the RTCG chain.
