The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported this Friday the death of at least 25 people in an attack carried out by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) against an area in Rafah where there were tents of Palestinians displaced by the conflict.

According to Palestinian authorities, Israel’s attack has reached the Al Mawasi camp, in the city of Rafah, located in the south of the Gaza Strip and now home to hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians. At least 50 people have been injured in the attack.

On the other hand, the director of the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza City, Dr. Fadel Naim, has asserted that another 30 Palestinian citizens have died as a result of another separate attack by the Israeli Army against the city.

The conflict in the Gaza Strip dates back to early October, when the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) launched an offensive against Israel, leaving almost 1,200 dead and 240 hostages. The Israeli Army then began a bloody counteroffensive focused on Hamas structures in Gaza and which has already left more than 37,000 dead.
