The Israeli Army kills a 15-year-old boy in Qalqilia (West Bank)

The Israeli Army killed a 15-year-old boy this Thursday in a military operation carried out in the West Bank city of Qalqilia, amid the increase in incursions by Israeli troops into this territory since the attacks carried out by the Movement of Islamic Resistance (Hamas) against Israel.

The Ministry of Health, linked to the Palestinian Authority, has identified the victim as Naim Abdilá Naim Samha and has indicated that he died “from shots fired by the occupation,” according to a brief statement published on his profile on the social network Facebook. The Israeli Army, for its part, has not commented on the matter at the moment.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA has reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stormed the east of the city and searched several shops and homes, sparking clashes during which the military fired several shots. Sambha was seriously injured in the chest and was taken to Qalqilia Government Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The operations of the Israeli Army and the attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have left more than 550 Palestinians dead, of them 135 minors, since these types of actions have increased since last October 7, when The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) carried out an assault that left 1,200 dead and 240 hostages.
