At least 15 Palestinian civilians have died and dozens have been injured as a result of the latest bombings carried out by the Israeli Army on the cities of Gaza and Rafah, in the Gaza Strip, the Wafa agency reported this Saturday.
As confirmed by local sources to the Palestinian News Agency, 14 Gazan citizens have died, including several children, and dozens more have been injured as a result of the bombing of three homes in the neighborhoods of Tuffa and Shujaiya, in Gaza City, by part of the Israeli forces.
The same sources have added that the occupation aircraft has bombed the eastern areas of Gaza City, while the occupation artillery attacked the Shujaiya neighborhood, to the east of Gaza City, and the Shama area, in the Olive neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also attacked the south of the Strip on Friday night, bombing the Shabura camp, in the city of Rafah, where another Palestinian civilian has lost his life.
Furthermore, according to the aforementioned agency, a school belonging to the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the center of Rafá has also been bombed.
On the other hand, in the West Bank, two Palestinian citizens were injured and two others were detained this Saturday during an Israeli Army operation in the Jalazun refugee camp and in Ramallah, causing clashes to break out.
The two injured have been treated by the Palestinian Red Crescent and taken to hospital. According to what medical sources have indicated to Wafa, one of them – in critical condition – had “live ammunition in the head”, and the other, “shrapnel from a real bullet in the abdomen and leg.”
The authorities of the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have estimated this Friday at more than 37,260 Palestinians dead and more than 85,100 injured due to the military offensive launched by Israel against the Gaza Strip. Gaza after the attacks carried out by the Palestinian group on October 7, which left some 1,200 dead and 240 kidnapped.
Added to these death tolls are more than 520 Palestinians killed in the West Bank and East Jerusalem at the hands of Israeli forces or in attacks by settlers.
