At least three Palestinians were killed this Thursday by gunfire from the Israel Defense Forces in clashes that occurred during an Israeli raid in the West Bank city of Qabatiya, located south of Jenin.

The Palestinian Authority Ministry of Health has identified one of the dead as Qais Mohamad Zakarna, 21. For his part, the governor of Jenin, Kamal abu al Rub, has told the WAFA news agency that there have been two other fatalities.

The clashes occurred after the Army surrounded a house and began demolishing the building with an excavator. A video spread on social networks, without verification, shows the body of a young Palestinian being removed with the arm of the excavator, according to the aforementioned news agency.

The Palestinian Authority has confirmed the deaths of more than 520 people in operations by Israeli security forces and attacks by settlers since October 7, to which are added more than 37,200 deaths from the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip. triggered after the attacks carried out by Hamas.
