U27B3A and U27B3AF are the names of the two new 4K monitors from AOC equipped with IPS panel. These are 27-inch proposals with the 3,840 x 2,160 pixels typical of 4K resolution in 16:9 format that stand out for having quite affordable prices that start at 230 euros for direct exchange.
For that price, the resolution and the panel are the main strengths and we cannot expect much more. The refresh rate remains at only 60 Hz (although it has synchronization technology AdaptiveSync)and response times are 4 GtG.
They support HDR10 content and incorporate two 2W speakers each. There is also no shortage of operating modes to reduce blue light or flickering.
The difference between the AOC U27B3A and AOC U27B3AF is that the first integrates a fixed stand that does not allow the screen to be adapted too much, and the AF variant has a more advanced stand with extra height adjustment and will cost about 15 euros more.
In both cases the panel has a matte anti-glare coating and offers a static contrast of 1000:1 (20,000,000:1 dynamic) with 8-bit + FRC technology. They promise a maximum brightness of 350 nits.
