For some time now there has been a curious range of Samsung devices that they call FE or “Fan Edition”. We have seen them in the company’s Galaxy smartphones, with models with different specifications than the conventional variants, and now it seems that we will also have a new watch Samsung Galaxy Watch FE.
The full press photographs have been leaked where you can see a design similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, although somewhat less refined and basic, with some thicker bezels on its circular screen.
The leak comes through the popular “leaker” Evan Blass (@evleaks)and lets us see in all its splendor what will be Samsung’s new smartwatch.
As for its specifications, there is nothing official, but others leaks They suggest that it will be a watch equipped with a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with just under 400 x 400 pixels of resolution (396p), with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage that will accompany the Exynos W920 and a 247 mAh battery. Therefore, it would be a cropped version of the basic Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, which integrates a superior Exynos W930, with a 1.5-inch 480 x 480 screen (with thinner bezels), and 2 GB of RAM.
Of course, it will continue to run the operating system for watches based on Android and developed by Google and Samsung itself: Wear OS with the ONE UI Watch 5.0 customization layer. This variant also dispenses with the rotating bezel that we find in the “Classic” variant of its older brother.
Its release date is expected for June 24 for a price of 199 euros.
