PARIS, June 12. (Portaltic/EP) –
Honor aims to raise the quality of portraits so that any user can take a professional-quality photograph with the help of the Honor 200 series of smartphones, which has the collaboration of the Harcourt Studio in Paris.
The Chinese company has chosen Paris to present its new ‘smartphones’, which modify the numerical order followed until now because continuing ten by ten from 100 coincided in some countries with the emergency number.
Thus, of the Honor 90 series that was marketed internationally – also in Spain – and the Honor 100 series that came out in China, Honor has presented this Wednesday the Honor 200 series, composed of Honor 200, 200 Pro and 200 Lite (the latter presented at the beginning of June).
Honor 200 Pro, which arrives in Europe for the first time, is the model that materializes the news in portrait photography, although some features are also incorporated by the other two ‘smartphones’. On the one hand, there is the camera itself and, on the other, the portrait mode developed together with Harcourt.
The main camera of this device stands out on the back with an oval module which, as detailed by the company, conveys elegance and is inspired by Gaudí’s modernist style. surrounds him a casing with different finishes: pearly and waving in those inspired by the ocean (Ocean Cyan) and in the light of the Moon (Moonlight White) and matte (Midnight Black).
In the module there is a 50MP main lens with the H9000 sensor with a pixel size of 1/1.3 inches, which reduces noise by 105% in low light conditions. Also a 50MP telephoto lens (IMX856) from Sony customized, with optical and electronic stabilization and 2.5x optical zoom; and a lens 12MP ultra wide angle and macro, which covers a field of vision of 112º and comes close to 2.5cm.
harcourt has contributed its experience in portrait photography to improve the production and management of light, customize the sensor and post-production, which are materialized in the new AI engine dedicated to portraits, as the company has detailed. The main camera offers different tools for portrait mode: night, beauty, HDR and bokeh. It also includes effects from the portraits in this studio: Color and Classic (black and white) and one Honor Classic.
On the front, the camera integrates a 50MP main lens and a 2MP depth sensor. With this component, you can also enable another novelty: the mirror reflection, with which we seek to convey the sensation of reflecting ourselves in a mirror in a self-portrait.
In addition, Honor 200 Pro has a 6.68 inch OLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate that the company has provided with protections to avoid eye fatigue, which act depending on the time of day and ambient light.
Works with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and with a 5,200mAh battery silicon-carbon, which offers up to 61 hours of music streaming on a single charge and is compatible with the 100-watt wired fast charging system, which recharges 47 percent in 15 minutes, as well as wireless charging of 66 watts.
Another member presented this Wednesday is, precisely, the standard device that gives its name to the series. Honor 200 arrives with a 6.7-inch screenin the colors Emerald Green, Moonlight White and Midnight Black, with the processor Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and a 5,200mAh battery with 100-watt wired charging (no wireless charging).
The camera of this device also offers the new features in the portrait mode of its older brother, although it changes the main lens slightly, since it does not includes the H9000 sensor. And on the front, it only has a 50MP lens.
The two devices arrive with a configuration of 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal capacity. And with the Honor C1 chip (C1+ in the Pro model) that improves the connection by optimizing the radio frequency signal. They also work with MagicOS 8.0, which also offers smart features (Magic Portal, Magic Capsule and Magic Ring) on the Pro model.
The new Honor 200 and 200 Pro are available from this Wednesday in pre-sale, with a price from 649 euros and 799 euros, respectively. Both have a launch offer, with a 100 euro discount coupon, the Honor Earbuds X5 headphones, the SurperCharge 100W charger and six months of screen protection.
MAGICBOOK PRO 16 WITH INTEGRATED GRAPHICS
Honor has also presented the laptop MagicBook Pro 16 with integrated Intel Arc graphics, after showing at the end of February the model with Nvidia GeForce RTC of the 40 series, which will be available in some European countries this summer.
The new computer works with the processor Intel Core Ultra 5 and a 75Wh battery that offers twelve hours of autonomy.
