The Ibex 35 stood at 11,182 points in the mid-session of this Wednesday, which implies an increase of 0.06% compared to Tuesday’s close, losing the momentum it had registered at the opening.

Investors have their attention focused on the meeting of the United States Federal Reserve (Fed). Although no changes in interest rates are expected, investors will look for clues about changes in the future in the press conference given later by its president, Jerome Powell.

This is also the macroeconomic terrain, this Wednesday the United States inflation data for the month of May will be released.

Under the Spanish business umbrella, the new Almirall shares issued as a result of the capital increase to implement its flexible dividend have been admitted to trading on the Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Bilbao and Valencia Stock Exchanges this Wednesday.

In this context, Grifols led the selective in the mid-session (+1.97%), followed by Unicaja (+1.34%), Solaria (+1.30%), Mapfre (+1.12%), Aena (+0.94%) and Banco Santander (+0.74%).

On the opposite side were BBVA (-2.17%), Banco Sabadell (-1.31%), Acciona (-0.85%), Telefónica (-0.72%), Naturgy (-0.28% ) and Indra (-0.19%).

The Ibex thus lagged behind the rest of the main European stock markets in the mid-session. London advanced 0.65%; Paris, 0.34%; Frankfurt, 0.53%; and Milan, 0.72% more.

In the raw materials market, a barrel of Brent rose 1.12%, to $82.85, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) reached $78.91, up 1.30%.

In the debt market, the yield on the Spanish 10-year bond fell to 3.403%, from 3.411% on Tuesday. In this way, the risk premium rose by six tenths, to 79.5 basis points.

Regarding currencies, the euro was trading at $1.0750 for each unit of the community currency.
