Hezbollah has indicated in a statement that it “is mourning” the death of ‘Hajj Abu Talib’, born in 1969 in the city of Aadchit – about 20 kilometers from the place where the attack took place – , “who arose as a martyr on the road to Jerusalem.”

The Israeli Army and Hezbollah – backed by Iran and which has significant political weight in Lebanon – have maintained a series of clashes since October 8, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned last week that the Israeli Army “is prepared for a very powerful action” on the border with Lebanon.
