Among the new variants of traditional cameras, Synology adds three new models. A panoramic model Synology BC800Z, with high definition resolution for placement on ceilings and with 360-degree vision. Logically it is oriented towards interiors.
The new one follows Synology CC400W, a desktop model, with wireless connectivity and 2K high definition resolution. This is undoubtedly a personal variant of the CS400W that has direct connectivity to the cloud and which we will talk about later. It is capable of doing instant searches for people and also tracing routes.
Finally, the powerful Synology BC800Z, a model with 4k resolution and completely prepared for outdoors. It supports the IK10 military standard for protection against the elements, has night vision up to 31 meters with white LEDs and up to 38 meters with infrared LEDs. The most advanced in hardware of the brand, but not in connectivity.
Lastly, but also most importantly, three new models within the CS range with direct connection to Synology’s C2 private cloud and not only to manage and store the information generated in real time but also to be able to apply the new AI analysis technologies that Synology has introduced with this range and that allows analyzing people, vehicles, intrusions and loitering, etc.
Of these three models we find a desktop variant of the CC400W, called CS400W with the same wireless network access and imaging hardware features. It is accompanied by two variants of the classic “500” from Synology, but with this new technology.
They are both models, Synology CS500B and Synology CS500T, panoramic with 3K resolution, with input audio and excellent features to withstand adverse climates. Its night vision range is 30 meters, with infrared. These new models will soon hit the market at prices yet to be confirmed.
