QNAP has taken advantage of this Computex to launch two new external network adapters capable of reaching speeds of up to 25 Gbps via Ethernet. QNA USB 4 Type C Network Adapters offer 10 Gbps or 25 Gbps connectivity in one or two port solutions GBASE-T or SFP+ and SFP28.
USB 4 is a port capable of reaching speeds of 40 Gbps, necessary to take advantage of the high speeds of this type of network connectivity.
All cards QNA USB 4 Type C They work without the need for a fan, since they use a metal casing that acts as a heatsink. On the one hand we have the USB 4 type C port, and on the other one or two network ports of different types.
They are compatible with Windows, Linux and also MacOS systems.
In total there will be 5 variants depending on the connectivity offered, ranging from models with 10GBASE-T and 10 GbE SFP+ connectivity, to models with 25 GbE SFP28. There are also models with dual ports.
- QNA-UC10G1T: USB 4 Type C to 1 x 10GBASE-T.
- QNA-UC10G1SF: USB 4 Type C to 1 x 10GbE SFP+.
- QNA-UC10G2T: USB 4 Type C to 2 x 10GBASE-T.
- QNA-UC10G2SF: USB 4 Type C to 2 x 10GbE SFP+.
- QNA-UC25G2SF: USB 4 Type C to 1 x 125GBe SFP28.
