kyiv has managed to export 160,000 tons of grain that they transport four ships that sailed this Sunday from the Ukrainian ports of the Black Sea. Meanwhile, Russia has intensified bombing in the Donetsk region in the east of the country, where dozens of cities have been attacked in recent hours.
This shipment of food enters the agreement to unblock maritime exports of the country, whose importance is “crucial”, according to what Ukrainian officials have told Reuters, due to the large amount of corn and other food they transport.
The resumption of grain exports is being supervised by a Joint Coordination Center (JCC) in Istanbul, where Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish and UN personnel cooperate.

Turkey and the United Nations already negotiated the agreement last month after warnings from this organization about the possible famine outbreaks in different parts of the world caused by the blockade of grain shipments from Ukraine. A problem that has joined the shortage of supplies and the price hike. Before the invasion, Ukraine and Russia contributed close to a third of world wheat exports.
The JCC has authorized the departure of a total of five new ships through the Black Sea corridor: four ships leaving Chornomorsk and Odesa with 161,084 tons of food. Four of these ships left Ukraine last week under the agreement.
Ukraine resists in the east
The Ukrainian army has resisted the latest Russian attacks in the east of the country. Zelensky’s troops will now try to contain Putin’s soldiers in a large section of the Donetsk eastern front. The most intense combats take place in Bakhmut and Avdiivkawhere the Ukrainian soldiers “kept their positions and repulsed the invaders”, as reported.
In addition, Russian pressure continues in the cities of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, the main strongholds of the Ukrainian troops in the east of the country. The General Staff has indicated that the Russian forces have punished several localities with artillery fire. They have also reported strong support from radio-electronic warfare complexes that made aerial reconnaissance of the Ukrainian army difficult. In addition, according to the Ukrainian command, the Russian Army has tried an “unsuccessful” offensive in the towns of Bogorodichni and Dolyna.

On the other hand, in Kramatorsk, Russian troops have used tanks, artillery and missiles against a dozen localities. “They launched an airstrike near Spirny with assault planes,” kyiv confirmed.
“During this week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and our intelligence have managed to solid results in destroying the logistics of the Russian armythe occupiers’ rear bases,” Zelensky said in his usual daily video.
Zelensky asks for more weapons
Likewise, Zelensky thanked the West for military aid given and asked more weapons for the next fights. “Thanks to our partners, to all those who supply Ukraine with the necessary weapons,” he said, recalling that this week “another support package from the United States was agreed, which includes projectiles for the HIMARS.”

“Each attack on the enemy’s arsenals, on their command posts, on their emplacements of combat machines, saves the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians,” the president added.
In addition, the Ukrainian leader has defended that these weapons “are used with the highest accuracy and profit possible for the general defense strategy” and has assured that his Government is “doing everything possible to obtain even more effective and modern weapons”.
Reproaches for the attack on Zaporizhia
Ukraine and Russia continue to accuse each other of bomb the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, the largest complex of its kind in Europe. On the one hand, kyiv has called for a stronger international response to the new bombings at the plant. Also, the state nuclear power company of Ukraine, Energoatomhas ensured that a worker was injured during the bombing on Saturday night.
Zelensky has requested new international sanctions against Moscow for “nuclear terrorism,” including sanctions to be imposed on the Russian nuclear industry and nuclear fuel.
talked with @eucopresident Charles Michel, told about the situation on the battlefield, in particular at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Russian nuclear terror requires a stronger response from the international community – sanctions on the Russian nuclear industry and nuclear fuel. (1/2)

On the other hand, Moscow has affirmed this Sunday that a Ukrainian attack had damaged the administrative buildings inside the compound with “a cluster bomb fired from a rocket launcher Uragan” which, supposedly, has impacted “400 meters from a working reactor”.
The Zaporizhia plant is one of the hottest points in this war conflict since it was occupied by Russia at the beginning of the war. Multiple attacks in the area have caused damage to various structures and has forced the closure of one of the reactors.
