The death of five Palestinians this Sunday afternoon in the towns of Jabalia and Beit Hanun, in the north of the Gaza Strip, brings to 36 the number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, The last friday.
Five Palestinians have died and several more have been injured, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, which does not give further details about what happened.
In response, Israeli military sources have indicated that between three and five Palestinians would be killed and have stressed that the explosion originated from an Islamic Jihad projectile that fell on land in the Gaza Strip.
If confirmed, there would already be 36 Palestinians killed in three days of Israeli bombing, including eleven minors and four women. The injured are at least 311.
