The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has assured that the proposal of Feijóo’s Popular Party, which this Monday opened the door to a motion of censure against the Executive, shows that they are “absolutely desperate.” Feijóo has assured that his party is open to this option if there is “an appropriate context.”
“What I like about electoral campaigns is that Feijóo has bursts of truth, of sincerity,” Sánchez said during a campaign event in Gijón (Asturias). “Today he has said clearly that his proposal is an option with Abascal and Puigdemont, they are absolutely desperate.”
Sánchez has stated that in all electoral events “there is a dilemma to answer” but that, in the case of the European elections that will be held this Sunday, the question “is clear.” “It seems to me that on this occasion it is so clear… either you are with Milei, with Netanyahu, with Abascal, with Feijóo and with Aznar, or you are on the good side of history, which is that of Europe” .
Thus, the President of the Government recalled that citizens will choose “between peace or Netanyahu, between social justice or Milei, between coexistence or Abascal and Ayuso, between the fight against climate change or Aznar.” Sánchez has added one more dilemma, after learning about the latest step taken by the PP: “You can be with fair play or with Feijóo.”
The President of the Government has alluded to the fact that the PP “were very frustrated” after Feijóo’s failed investiture. “They didn’t achieve it and they said that ‘whoever can do, let him do’,” said Sánchez, inviting PSOE followers to “whoever can vote, should vote, not so that Europe goes backwards but rather for the right and the extreme right.” .
