This Sunday the merchant ship ‘Fulmar S’ docked in the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk, the first to access Ukrainian ports under the agreement reached between Ukraine and Russia and mediated by Turkey and the UN to facilitate the export of food from the Black Sea ports.

“The cargo ship ‘Fulmar S’ has arrived at the port of Chornomorsk and is ready for loading,” the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported via Telegram.

The ‘Fulmar S’, with the flag of Barbados, the corridor certifies its “entry and exit” capacity, highlighted the Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister, Olexander Kubrakov.

Since last Monday, eight merchant ships have left Ukraine under the agreement by which Ukraine is responsible for guiding the ships avoiding mined areas and Russia agrees not to attack these ships or the port infrastructure necessary for export.

Subsequently, the UN and Turkey will certify the cargo of the ships to prevent any type of shipment of military material to Ukrainian territory.
