At least ten dead in Israeli bombings against two refugee camps in central Gaza

June 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least ten Palestinians have been killed and another 15 wounded, most of them women and children, after a series of bombings by the Israeli Army carried out overnight on Sunday against the Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps, both located in the center of the Gaza Strip.

In Bureij, the death toll is six dead and 15 injured, who arrived at the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after a projectile hit a house, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Local sources have confirmed to the same source another four dead in Nuseirat, without specifying the number of injured, while rescue teams continue searching through the rubble.

The Israeli Army began an offensive against the Gaza Strip in response to the attacks by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on October 7, which left 1,200 dead and 240 hostages. Since then, Gazan authorities have reported more than 36,400 Palestinian deaths, in addition to more than 510 in East Jerusalem and the West Bank as a result of the actions of Israeli security forces and settlers.
