Culture, battlefield between Moscow and kyiv

Russophobia can irreparably damage Odessa’s cosmopolitan character and prestige as a ‘multicultural capital’. For a nation at war and a city eager to regain any semblance of normality, the reopening of the Odessa Opera House on June 17, 115 days after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, was an especially emotional moment.
