In addition to the release date and a new trailer, Nacon has revealed the different editions in which Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown can be purchased beyond the standard one. Silver Streets Edition and Silver Sharps Edition feature the same content, including two-day early access and the Solar Pass, but their cosmetics vary. For its part, the Gold Edition offers all the content of the Silver and adds a VIP Solar Pass with 20 unlocked levels, access to the beta and seven days of early access. Prices have not yet been revealed and reservations are not yet available in stores.
Initially Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown had also been announced for PS4 and Xbox One, but both versions were cancelled. Regarding the Nintendo Switch version, its logo no longer appears in the trailers like that of the Epic Games Store.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is a driving game set in Hong Kong, an island reproduced at 1:1 scale that offers more than 600 km of roads. The area is presented as both an urban and natural jungle, while the city of Hong Kong is described as modern and technological, as well as one of the symbols of luxury in Asia. The Street and Sharp clans compete in its streets and the player must choose a side. The Sharps represent high society and are characterized by their taste for sophistication and classic luxury, while the Streets embrace urban culture and for them success is synonymous with making an impression and going against the grain.
Players will be able to roam the Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown map freely while participating in competitions and experiencing a lifestyle. Among the car brands available we find Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Dodge and Apollo.
