WhatsApp allows you to share voice states of up to one minute

A report published on the WABetainfo website “The update seeks to provide greater flexibility in the sharing experience to ensure that the platform remains a viable option for its users.”

How does this update work?

To test this feature, you must follow the following procedure:

  1. Open WhatsApp and select “News” in the lower left corner.
  2. In the “My status” section, select the pen.
  3. Press and hold the microphone like when you send a voice note via chat.

The feature is currently available to some users with the latest version of WhatsApp. If you still don’t see this tool, you need to update the app in your smartphone’s app store.

In addition to this feature, the site claims that WhatsApp is working on other improvements, such as a privacy setting that will give users more control over who can see their status and the ability to share longer video clips in this section.
