The National Police have arrested three people, between 18 and 21 years old, for allegedly threatening and insulting, issuing Nazi-related proclamations, to those camped for Palestine at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). It happened this Saturday night, around 10:30 p.m., when a group of about eight people went to the university and began to harass those present, as reported by El País and police sources have confirmed to EFE.
They also threatened them and sang various Nazi proclamations, although they did not attack anyone and there were no injuries. After receiving the notice, the agents appeared on the campus, where there are about 240 tents deployed as a sign of protest against the Israeli offensive on Gaza and to demand that the rectorates sever relations with the university institutions of the Hebrew country.
Shortly after, they located three of the alleged members of the group, all of them Spanish, aged 21, 19 and 18, who were arrested for hate crimes and threats.
