The accident occurred when a passenger bus invaded the opposite lane and collided with two cars and a truck, explained the Minister of the Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, through his account on the aforementioned social network.

The president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has assured that the “relevant authorities immediately initiated the necessary investigation into the accident.” “My deepest condolences to the families of our deceased citizens and to our nation,” he added.

After receiving the notice, several emergency, fire and police service teams have moved to the scene of the incident. The local Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the accident and has assigned three prosecutors to the case, as reported by the public television channel TRT Haber.
