Samsung Galaxy Rings will include a measuring kit to determine the user’s ring size before shipping

It has not yet been seen except in non-functional prototypes like the one they showed at MWC 2024 and it is not the first “smart ring” that exists, but without a doubt the Samsung Galaxy Ring is a device that generates a lot of curiosity due to its format and be a product that will be added to the Korean giant’s range of wearables.

Now, thanks to the famous “leaker” Evan Blass (@evleaks), we have been able to learn some additional details about Samsung’s Galaxy Ring. Specifically, it has leaked how Samsung will sell the rings tailored to each user, a topic that is not trivial considering that the comfort of using the device depends on it.

According to this document, if the user does not know what ring size they use, Samsung will offer an option when ordering the Galaxy Ring in which A measuring kit will be sent to the user so that they can determine the size of their finger. Once this data is collected, the order will be confirmed and sent to the user.

In the case of knowing the size of the finger, It can be ordered directly from the company without needing the measurement kit.

It is still unknown if this kit will cost extra, or if there will be a way to adapt the Galaxy Ring to another size once shipped.

Some rumors They point out that its cost will exceed 300 euros and that it will additionally have a monthly cost to be able to use the monitoring services. Without a doubt, if confirmed, it would be a controversial decision that would add an extra handicap to a device with a higher cost than a smartwatch from the company, with presumably many fewer functions.
