May 24. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Israeli Army announced this Thursday night the interception of two aerial objects directed “from the east” towards the city of Eilat, in the south of the country and on the shores of the Red Sea, a regular target of attacks by pro-Iranian militias since the beginning. of the conflict in Gaza on October 7, although they have not caused significant damage.

“Recently, an Air Force fighter successfully intercepted two suspicious aerial targets coming from the eastern region towards the city of Eilat. The objects have not crossed the country’s territory and no alarms have been activated,” he published the Israeli Army on its X social network account.

Shortly before, they were forced to activate alarms in the north of the country due to the “infiltration” of two drones, which have been destroyed, from Lebanese territory, where Israel maintains clashes with the Shiite militia party Hezbollah.

Although this latest action has not been claimed by any group at the moment, the organizations that have previously called for attacks against Israeli territory are the Houthi rebels of Yemen, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq, the Al Ashtar Brigades of Bahrain and other pro-Iran militias in Syria .
