Equipped in both cases with much brighter 6.67-inch AMOLED screens, the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro integrate chipsets of different generation. The base model has the recent Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, with good performance gaming, while the Pro uses the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In practice, both are manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and are very similar in terms of performance, but the differentiation is curious to say the least. The Pro model, however, benefits from up to 16 GB of RAM.

The cameras are also notable. The base Poco F6 takes a significant leap thanks to its new 50 MP Sony IMX882 stabilized sensor, to which is added a wide-angle sensor apparently unchanged from the Poco F5. Although it looks like a triple sensor camera, there are actually only two sensors. There are also improvements to the front sensor, which now provides 20 MP.
For its part, the Poco F6 Pro incorporates an interesting camera with a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor that appears to be much brighter than the previous one. It has stabilization and six-element optics, as well as more sophisticated dynamic range processing to show off its screen (which is considerably better than that of the Poco F6). The rest of the sensors consist of an 8 MP wide-angle sensor and a 2 MP macro sensor, the same as in the previous model. The front camera is “only” 16 MP.
Other notable aspects of the new phones are the introduction of water resistance with IP64 level in the Poco F6 (curiously Xiaomi does not say anything about the F6 Pro, when this feature was part of the F5 Pro) and the loss of wireless charging in the Pro model. For its part, the Poco F6 no longer has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Both models are strictly USB-C.
