Although lately we have seen a lot of tests with the next Intel Raptor Lake due to the fact that its launch will be soon, amd also has earring the launch of the next generation of Ryzen 7000 Series processors core-based Zen 4. It has been rumored that AMD will initially launch 4 references of these processors that will be expanded later with other models. These models, contrary to what was initially thought, were leaked by AMD itself on its page of resources and images for marketing.
The most powerful of all the AMD Ryzen 9 7950Xwill have 16 cores and 32 threads with a base frequency of 4.7 GHz but will be able to reach 5.7GHz. It will also feature a TDP greater than 170W that can reach up to 230W to reach this maximum speed. It will have a total cache of 80 MB, divided into 32 MB of L3 cache for each CCD (a total of 64 MB) and 1 MB of L2 cache for each of the 16 cores.
The next reference AMD Ryzen 9 7900Xit will be a CPU with 12 cores and 24 threads of execution and with the same base frequency as its older brother, 4.7 GHz. In this model, the maximum speed is reduced by only 100 MHz, reaching 5.6GHz in one of its nuclei. Like the previous one, it has 32 MB of L3 cache for each CCD (a total of 64 MB) and 1 MB of L2 cache for each core, this makes a total of 76 MB.
The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X it will be an 8-core, 16-thread reference. In this case we have a base frequency of 4.5 GHz that can be increased up to 5.4GHz. This reference has a total of 40 MB of Cache, divided into 32 MB of L3 cache and 8 MB of L2 cache, 1 MB per core. This reference lowers its TDP to 105W and a maximum of 142W.
For the least powerful reference of those presented initially, the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, 6 cores and 12 execution threads have been used. In this reference the speed will be 4.7 GHz and a turbo speed for one of its cores. 5.3GHz. The cache will be 38 MB, like the previous one it will have 32 MB of L3 cache and 6 MB of L2 cache. It will also have a TDP of 105W that will go up to 142W.
It is expected that AMD presents these new processors at the end of this monthon August 29, and that they are available on September 15.
