However, it is the second entity with the highest rate of injuries in land traffic accidents.

Jalisco is another outstanding entity in the diversification of its economy and that contributes with a high level of patent registration, its openness stands out due to the level of air cargo received. On the other hand, it is one of the ten entities with the lowest percentage of the population that feels safe.

Guanajuato, Tabasco and Veracruz the intermediates

Finally, Guanajuato, Tabasco and Veracruz are the three entities, out of nine, with an intermediate position in terms of competitiveness.

Tabasco shows a moderate level of debt and its weighted average cost. To this we must add their levels of citizen participation. Despite this, it is the fourth state with the lowest rate of foreign direct investment.

Veracruz shows the lowest levels in morbidity from respiratory diseases, the average cost of debt and citizen participation. However, it is the third entity with the lowest educational coverage.

Finally, Guanajuato is the state that registers the highest number of patents and has a diverse economy, complemented by its high performance in economic complexity in innovation sectors. However, it is the fourth state with the lowest perception of security.

Less investment

In general, the nine entities, compared to the rest, have a lower rate of foreign direct investment, less access to the internet, as well as a greater gap in working conditions between women and men.

Furthermore, under the same comparison criteria they report on average a lower perception of security, a higher infant mortality rate, but on the other hand their debt is lower as a proportion of their total income.
