The Israeli Army reported this Thursday night an attack by settlers in which three soldiers were injured after they went to protect the driver of a truck that had been set on fire in a settlement located in the West Bank.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) explained that this afternoon they sent a group of soldiers to the Kochav Shachar settlement, about 30 kilometers from Ramallah, to separate the citizens from the driver and provide him with medical treatment.
“They reacted violently,” they lamented in a statement published on their profile on the social network X. In this sense, they added that two officers and a soldier were slightly injured and received treatment at the scene.
Additionally, the IDF has indicated that it is deployed in the area and is working to “maintain the safety of residents, law and order.” “We condemn any manifestation of violence against the security forces, who will act with all the rigor of the law,” they declared in a statement.
