For the next generation of laptop processorsit seems that AMD has on its hands a new change in nomenclature for names. A processor has recently appeared AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX170 of the Strix Halo series, this processor was followed by another with a more concise name, but following the same pattern to name it, Ryzen AI 165. So AMD only will throw a range of processors Strix Point called HXthat will encompass all TPD ranges from the previous ranges of 15W for the U, 35W for the H and 45W for the HS. This will simplify the range of processors much more availablebut it will not be clear to the user that product range you are buying, where the U are usually used for ultraportable devices and the HS and HX for gaming and high-performance laptops with 45 and up to 54W consumption.
