Colombia was crowned the ‘king of bread’ in the world. All on behalf of a ‘top’ 10 made by the firm Taste Atlas, specialized in world gastronomy.
And in the list for May 2024, the country occupied 4 of the 10 boxes, one of them being number 1.

According to the ‘top’ shared by Taste Atlas, Colombian pandebono is the number 1 bread in the world, with a rating of 4.6 out of 5.
The Brazilian pão de queijo and the Chilean and Bolivian marraqueta They complete the ‘top’ 3, with ratings of 4.5 and 4.4, respectively.

In fourth place is the pampushka Ukrainian (4.4) and In the fifth box is the Colombian cassava bread (4.4), product that also represents Ecuador.
The Colombian and Puerto Rican almojábana is sixth (4.4) and New York city bagels, seventh (4.3).

Eighth place went to another Colombian product: cheese bread (4.3).
And the ‘top’ was closed with the Portuguese bolo lêvedo (4.3) and the Filipino pandesal (4.1).
