An Israeli was injured after a bomb exploded when he tried to remove a Palestinian flag in the West Bank

An Israeli was injured this Sunday by the explosion of a homemade explosive device placed next to a Palestinian flag pinned near the settlement of Kochav Hashahr, northeast of the West Bank city of Ramallah.

A video circulating on social networks shows the man approaching the flag, which he kicks to try to knock it down. At that moment the device placed in the place explodes, with no claim of responsibility for now.

The Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) ambulance service has indicated in a statement on its Telegram account that the 28-year-old man has received treatment at the scene of the incident. “He has minor injuries to his extremities,” he concluded.
