That's what Nothing must have thought with the update of its headphones that becomes official today. the new one arrives Nothing Ear which, despite its name, is the third generation of high-end noise-canceling headphones. But, in addition, they present the new Nothing Ear that fits between the previous and the current Nothing Ear Stick.
Two new headphones arrive at a time when finding good options with active noise cancellation is very easy and increasingly cheaper. But nothing undoubtedly knows how to make its products known thanks to a very striking design.
Although they maintain the same transparency design, The Nothing Ear (a) will arrive in a striking yellow color, in addition to the black and white edition for only 99 euros. Meanwhile, Nothing Ear will arrive in white or black for 149 euros. Both can be reserved today and go on sale on April 22.

Nothing Ear, its third generation headphones
Nothing Ear is the third generation of headphones from the brand founded by Carl Pei, formerly of OnePlus, with the help of investors and some OnePlus veterans. And it is a special launch, because the Ear (1) were the first product with which they became known.
If there were already few design changes between Nothing Ear (1) and Ear (2), in these Nothing Ear don't expect design changes, only changes on the inside with a new 11 mm ceramic driver. It is smaller than the previous generation, but the material allows for improved sound quality and more powerful sound.
The air flow has improved with some small internal changes, it also has 2 more outlet holes with less distortion.
The noise cancellation is also better, going from 40db of the previous generation to 45db of the Nothing Ear. In addition, they add the system ClearVoice 3.0 which with its three microphones and a sound recognition algorithm, better detects and isolates your voice for calls.
Nothing has improved autonomy, going to 5.2 hours with active noise cancellation or 8.5 hours without it, adding a total of 24 hours with its charging box with ACN or 40.5 hours without ANC.
Little else changesthe design is maintained, it continues to support LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codecs, same advanced equalizer functions, Mimi system to create a personal sound profile and ear cushion adjustment for improved active noise cancellation.
It goes on sale on April 22 for the same price as the previous generation, 149 euros.
Nothing Ear (a), almost the same features with a touch of color
The surprise of the day comes with the arrival of the Nothing Ear (a), an intermediate version between the Ear and the Ear Stick. At first glance, little changes, a design tremendously similar to the Ear but also has a yellow version.
The changes compared to the Ear are that its driver, also 11 mm, is made of PMI and TPU, in addition, the charging box is more compact and equalizer profiles cannot be shared.
The autonomy remains at 5.5 hours with active noise cancellation or 9.5 hours without it, plus the box provides a total of 24.5 hours of energy to listen to all the music, podcasts or videos you want.
The noise cancellation quality is identical, but the sound quality is slightly lower, in addition to not having the LHDC 5.0 codec that offers better sound quality and low latency with compatible mobile phones.
The good thing is that these small changes make them drop substantially in price, since they can be purchased for only 99 euros, a quite interesting price for the range to which Nothing wants to position these headphones.
