April 17 (Portaltic/EP) –
Nintendo has shared the games from independent developers and distributors that will come to Switch throughout this year, including SteamWorld Heist II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Fate of Splinter, Little Kitty, Big City and Cat Quest III.
SteamWorld Heist II, the new installment of Thunderful's SteamWorld franchise, will arrive on Nintendo Switch on August 8, a proposal that combines elements of shooting and turn-based strategy games, and encourages players to lead a disparate crew of Steambots as they sail the Great Sea.
This is one of the many titles that Nintendo announced this Wednesday in the Indie World broadcast, in which it also showed the adventure starring a curious kitten Little Kitty, Big City (May 9), the 'roguelike' title The Turtles Ninja: The Fate of Splinter (July) and the sticker-making and selling simulation game Sticky Business.
Cat Quest III, the new installment of the series of role-playing and action games in which players will sail the waters of the Gatoribe in search of a mythical treasure, will arrive on the Nintendo console on August 8, while Europa, a title 3D action-adventure in which players will explore the ruins of a failed utopia and discover the story of the last human being left alive, will be available throughout the year.
New releases also include Yars Rising, from WayForward Technologies and Atari (2024); Refind Self: The Personality Test Game, by Lizardry and PLAYISM (Summer 2024); ANTONBLAST, by Summitsphere (November 12); Valley Peaks, by Tub Club and Those Awesome Guys (2024); and Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, from Simogo and Annapurna Interactive (available now).
SCHiM (July 18), Duck Detective: The Secret Salami (May 23), BZZZT (summer 2024), Another Crab's Treasure (April 25) and ANIMAL WELL (May 9), complete the announcements.
