April 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Iranian authorities said this Wednesday that the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, will travel “soon” to Tehran to continue and “update” the talks on nuclear issues.
This was confirmed by the head of Iran's nuclear agency, Mohammad Eslami, a day after Grossi in an interview for said that he is “considering” traveling to Tehran, although he did not yet have a specific date.
“We have good cooperation with the IAEA and its head will also come to Tehran soon to continue the bilateral talks and update them, so to speak,” Eslami reported, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.
In the interview given to the American network, Grossi revealed that the IAEA still has some reasonable doubts about the information that the Iranian authorities have provided to the organization so far, amid accusations from the West of Iran's non-compliance with some parts of the agreement.
