The Israeli Army reported this Friday that the Shiite militia party Hezbollah has launched at least 40 missiles from Lebanese territory towards northern Israel in retaliation for previous Israeli attacks against southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the attack and has stated that its forces have launched “dozens of Katyusha rockets” against several settlements in the Etzba HaGalil region, in Upper Galilee, as reported by the Lebanese Al Manar television network, linked to the group.

The Israeli Army has earlier attacked military targets of the militia in Aita el-Shaab, approximately one kilometer from the border, and in the town of Taybé, located in Marjeyun, according to the newspaper 'L'Orient Le-Jour'. .
