The Ukrainian authorities have reported this Thursday new attacks by the Russian Army against “energy infrastructure” in at least four provinces of the country, including the capital, kyiv, with no information on casualties at the moment.
“The enemy is attacking our energy infrastructure again,” said the Ukrainian Minister of Energy, Herman Galushchenko, through a brief statement published on his account on the social network Facebook and in response to the attacks carried out in recent months by Moscow against these facilities.
Thus, he detailed that “generation facilities and transmission systems have been attacked in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv and kyiv” and added that “experts” are already working to “eliminate the consequences”, without ruling on whether these bombings have caused supply cuts.
For its part, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated on Facebook that “the Russian occupiers have launched another massive attack” using Iranian-made 'Shahed' cruise missiles and kamikaze drones, used by Russia in the framework of the invasion of Ukraine.
“According to preliminary information, Ukrainian air defense systems destroyed 37 of the 40 drones” (launched by Moscow), he highlighted, while stating that “the information about the missiles (fired by Russia during the last hours) is being updated”.
