The Government has approved the Royal Decree calling for the next European Elections. The date chosen to hold these votes will be next Sunday June 9. That day, the 61 Spanish members of the 720 who will be part of the European Parliament will have to be elected in the legislature that will last until 2029.
The call will come into effect on April 16the day of its publication in the Official State Gazette, and the electoral campaign, which will last for 15 days, will begin at 00:00 on May 24 and will end at 24:00 on June 7.

The European regulations that regulate elections to the European Parliament establish that the electoral procedure will be governed in each member state by its national provisions. Beyond the European Elections
