April 7 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Israeli Army announced this Sunday that it has completed the expansion maneuvers of its emergency operational warehouses in the north of the country due to the possibility that a large-scale conflict with the militias of the Lebanese Shiite party Hezbollah may end.

Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging artillery fire along the border practically since the Gaza war began and in recent weeks Israeli forces have been carrying out drone attacks against militias or Hamas troops in Lebanon, sometimes inside this country.

This procedure was presented this Sunday to the Northern Command command by its operational chief, General Sagiv Dahan and the commander of the 210 Division, Colonel Zion Retzon.

“We have spent the last six months eroding Hezbollah while we have developed preparations to go on the offensive,” Dahan explained in comments collected on the Israeli Army website.

“The equipment and means of the warehouses will be maintained by computer, logistics and medical personnel of the Technology and Logistics Branch, and will allow the immediate recruitment of reserve forces in times of emergency and their arrival at the front in a short time with all the comforts, with the necessary equipment for combat,” he explained.

“Over the last few months, a deep learning process has been carried out based on the lessons learned from the fighting in the south, as part of improving preparedness,” he added, referring to the ground incursion into the Strip. from Gaza.
