Filtered the TDPs of the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series with socket AM5

Geeknetic Filtered the TDPs of the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series with socket AM5 1

AMD has leaked some references of its next generation of Ryzen 7000 Series processors, but the specifications are still a mystery. From the data leak that Gigabyte had, a document has appeared where the TDPs of the range of processors with socket AM5 are specified. In the document we see that there are several ranges, from 45W to 170W base consumption, but this maximum figure can be seen increased to a total of 230W. Exactly the filtered TDPs are:

  • 45W
  • 65W
  • 95W
  • 105W
  • 120W
  • 170W

It also specifies the requirements regarding required heat dissipation for these consumptions, being a liquid cooling with 280mm or larger radiator for the one with the highest TDP.

Although it is not specified to which processor each TDP corresponds, we can get an idea based on the expected references. Thus, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Leaked on your own website, you will surely have the greatest of all of 170W that can be increased to 230W. The 120W and an increase up to 170W can be for the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, the 105W can match the Ryzen 7 7700X and also the Ryzen 7 7800X when it launches, the 95W for the Ryzen 5 7600X. The lower consumption they will be for references Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 when they show up later.

But we'll have to wait presumably until september 15, in order to confirm this data by AMD. On September 15, AMD is expected to present these processors with Socket AM5 and next generation Zen 4 cores, although at the moment AMD has not specified an official date.
