This is what is known about the iPhone 14 and its A16 chip

Although not many improvements are expected in this component, the changes will be seen in performance and energy efficiency compared to the original 5 nanometers from TSMC. Specifically, it is expected that the third generation of thisarchitecture 11% faster and 22% more efficient.

Along with this, there could be a significant increase in RAM. The most recent report from the specialized newspaper ‘Digitames’ revealed that the iPhone 14 Pro will have 6GB of RAM, but with LPDDR5 architecturethat of the iPhone 13 Pro is LPDDR4X.

In this sense, ‘MacWorld’ calculates that the speed offered by the LPDDR5 RAM memory could increase the performance of the iPhone 14 Pro CPU by up to 15% compared to its predecessors.
