“You will not use our services in a way that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, intimidating, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or that promotes or encourages illegal or inappropriate conduct, such as the promotion of violent crimes, exploiting or endangering children, or coordinating harmful behavior”, states the legal and acceptable use section of the application, regardless of what type of device it is installed on.
Meanwhile, words such as pedophilia, pornography and their derivatives violate the rules of use of the application, so if it is detected that an account used them, the sanction may be blocking.
“You must use our services in accordance with our published Terms and Policies. If you violate our Terms or Policies, we may take action regarding your account, such as disabling or suspending it, in which case you agree not to create another account without our permission,” he adds.
But it is not the only reason why a WhatsApp account can be blocked. Other aspects that violate their rules are:
- Violate, misappropriate or infringe the rights of WhatsApp, its users or third parties, including the rights of privacy, publicity, intellectual or industrial property, copyright or other property rights.
- Posting falsehoods, misstatements, or misleading claims; (d) impersonate another person.
- Sending illegal or impermissible communications, such as bulk messaging, automated messaging, autodialing, and similar methodologies
- Any other non-personal use of their services, unless otherwise authorized by us.
