The names of future graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA begin to appear

We are not yet close to their releases, but both AMD and NVIDIA have already begun to register the names of their future graphics cards with the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) to be able to market products with them, a routine that practically all graphics cards undergo.

In neither of the two lists do we find surprises for the next generation, with AMD having models from the AMD Radeon RX 7500 to the RX 7900, in steps of 100 and with standard and XT variants. Also, NVIDIA has taken the same route as with the GeForce 30 series cards, registering the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series from the RTX 4050 to the RTX 4090 Ti.

Something interesting that we can see on the NVIDIA side is that Super variants of some existing models have also been registered, so it’s possible that the company will try to fit various graphics cards with existing GPUs between the current range and the next generation of GeForce cards.

This move could have to do with the possibility that the stock of Ampere GPUs could be too high to trust the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series to sell well.
