The Russian gas company Gazprom has reported that, as of Wednesday, will halve the current supply through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline alluding to the review of a new turbine, as happened weeks ago.

The gas pipeline is currently operating at 40% of its capacity, so as of Wednesday will be reduced to 20%which represents about 33 million cubic meters of gas per day.

Gazprom has justified its decision in the state of a turbine of the Portovaya gas compression station, which requires revision according to the standards of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.
