The new TCL CSOT R1000 takes 32:9 “Super Ultra Wide” monitors to a new place. Generally, we are used to seeing models in this format with resolutions of 5,120 x 1,440 or similar, but this new model from the Chinese company TCL CSOT goes up to 7,680 x 2,160.
This is equivalent, no more and no less, to two 4K monitors placed side by side, only without any division in the middle and with a curved format with a marked radius of R1000 and 57.1 inches.
This monitor uses one of the new HVA panels of the company, capable of operating at 240 Hz together with the technology AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC with a range of variation between 60 and 240 HZ.
At the moment there is no mention of price or availability, but being the world’s first monitor in this format with that resolution and size, we may have to pay a high amount to get it, and that’s not to mention the cost of the hardware. necessary to be able to move games freely at that resolution that doubles that of a 4K monitor.
