ASUS has announced its new monitor ZenScreen Smart MS27UC with a 27-inch IPS panel with 4K resolution in 16:9 format, that is, with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It promises color coverage of 99% of the sRGB range and also support for HDR content thanks to compliance with the VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. It also has integrated speakers with Harman Kardon certification.

Beyond the specifications of the panel itself, one of the details that make the panel special ASUS ZenScreen MS27UC is that it has functions of SmartTV thanks to the inclusion of the system Google TV. Therefore, it can not only function as a monitor alongside a PC or other device, but is also capable of functioning as a television with direct access to content and applications on its own.

Google TV offers more than 10,000 apps, built-in support for Google Cast, Google voice assistant by default, and integration with other Android devices. In addition, it also supports user profiles to be able to access each user’s applications directly.

In terms of connectivity, the ASUS ZenScreen MS27UC includes USB-C with up to 90W Power Delivery, Enough to charge many laptops directly, in addition to HDMI and DisplayPort. At the moment we do not know its price, but we do know that it will go on sale in our country soon.
