3D printing reaches amazing heights of sophistication

3D printing has been dragging limitations, among which are a low printing speed and the difficulty of using more than one “ink” at the same time.

The team of Joseph DeSimone, from Stanford University in the United States, has developed a new 3D printing method that allows the use of several inks in the same session and that reaches a printing speed between 4 and 5 times higher than the fastest 3D printing method among all high resolution.
