At least 35 people have died due to a fire that occurred this Tuesday in a building in the city of Mangaf, located in the south of Kuwait, as confirmed by the authorities, without the causes of the event having been determined for the moment.
The director of the Forensic Department of the Kuwaiti Ministry of the Interior, Eid al Ouaihan, has indicated that so far 35 deaths and 15 injuries have been confirmed, although he added that it is not ruled out that the number of victims will increase in the coming hours.
Thus, he detailed that the fire broke out at 6:00 a.m. (local time) in a residential building in the city, located in the province of Ahmadi, and added that firefighters have already controlled the flames, as reported the Kuwaiti state news agency, KUNA.
