Among the deceased are 22 residents of a home in which there were dozens of people displaced by the offensive
Dec. 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Around 25 Palestinians died this Wednesday due to a series of attacks carried out by the Israeli Army against the surroundings of the Kamal Aduan Hospital, located in the city of Beit Lahia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, including 22 dead after a house where there were numerous displaced people was reached.
Medical sources cited by the Palestinian news agency WAFA have indicated that 22 people have died in the attack on the home of the Abu Tarabish family, most of them members of this family, including several children, a fact also confirmed by the Palestinian newspaper ‘ Filastin’.
There were about 30 people in the house, so it is not ruled out that the death toll will increase in the coming hours, given that search and rescue work continues in the rubble of the completely destroyed building.
Subsequently, at least three people have died in another bombing against a group of people who were in front of the entrance to the Kamal Aduan Hospital, the scene of several raids and attacks by Israeli troops in recent months.
Israel launched its offensive against Gaza after attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian groups, which left nearly 1,200 dead and about 250 kidnapped, according to reports provided by the Israeli authorities.
Since then, the Gazan authorities, controlled by Hamas, have reported the deaths of nearly 44,800 Palestinians in the Strip, to which are added around 800 Palestinians killed at the hands of Israeli forces and in attacks carried out by settlers since then in West Bank and East Jerusalem.
