Seasonic has shown us in Taipei, within its stand at the Computex 2024 fair, its new flagship, the Seasonic Prime PX-2200.
This model is one of the most powerful on the market, with no more and no less than 2,200 W of power available for multi-GPU systems, whether for enthusiasts or for workstations and servers.
Complies with certification 80 PLUS Platinum at 230Vwith which it achieves up to 94% efficiency at 50% load and 115Vac.
As for cooling, a 135mm FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) fan is responsible for ventilating the power supply and its high-quality components such as aluminum solid electrolyte capacitors.
We have a 100% modular design for all cables, which includes two 12+4-pin ports for PCIe Gen 5, along with a whopping 9 12V PCIe/CPU connectors. And without forgetting the two connectors for the board base and 6 more connectors for peripherals and hard drives with SATA and MOLEX.
The power is distributed over a single 12V line, so we have a massive 183.33 Amps of intensity. For the 3.3V and 5V lines, 125 W of total power are shared.
It complies with the new ATX 3.1 standard and high quality components with which Seasonic is committed to a 12-year warranty. At the moment, we do not know the price that this will have. Seasonic Prime PX-2200..
