At the 2022 Vietnam Motor Show, which officially kicked off on Wednesday at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, new cars from 14 leading brands will be unveiled.

The exhibition, which will take place from October 26 to 30, is expected to attract thousands of visitors after a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the slogan “Drive Over The Challenges”, the 2022 Vietnam Motor Show shows the spirit of the attending brands to overcome difficulties and turn challenges into opportunities in order to offer consumers the best products.

“After two years of absence due to COVID-19, which leaves us with many difficulties and challenges, the Vietnam Motor Show 2022 will return with a larger scale than previous years to prove that it is undoubtedly the most anticipated specialized event in the world. year in which consumers and car enthusiasts seize the opportunity to see outstanding car models with leading advanced technology, thus helping them find the most suitable car,” said VAMA President Brad Kelly at the opening ceremony. .

The 2022 Vietnam Motor Show sees the participation of 14 brands, including Audi, Brabus, Honda, Jeep, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Morgan, MG, RAM, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo, exhibiting a total of 120 models.

In addition to the popular models on display, many new cars and concept cars will be presented, such as the Audi e-tron 50 SUV quattro, the Brabus G800, the Morgan Plus Six, the 7th generation Honda Civic TypeR, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L, the Lexus LF-Z electrified concept, the new Mercedes-EQ-EQS electric flagship, the MG Marvel R and the new MG4, the new Subaru WRX and WRX Wagon, the Subaru 6th generation Outback, the 2nd generation BRZ generation of Subaru, the new Subaru Forester, the CKD Veloz Cross, the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Volkswagen Touareg, and the Volvo XC90 Recharge Ultimate.

The Vietnam Motor Show returns to a larger scale

Mercedes-Benz brings 17 high-end luxury cars so that visitors can experience a full and diverse product range, including many special models such as the Mercedes-Maybach GLS and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

In particular, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam will launch the EQS, the main product of its luxury electric car segment.

MG Vietnam, joining the Vietnam Motor Show for the first time this year, is showcasing four products, including two electric cars that represent the future of MG, namely the MG Marvel R, the new MG4; and two popular vehicles in the Vietnamese market, the new MG5 and the MG ZS.

This year’s Vietnam Motor Show can be considered the largest-scale version of the show so far, with a total area of ​​up to 40,000 square meters, including an indoor exhibition area of ​​nearly 20,000 square meters.

The novelty of this year’s exhibition lies in the participation of more than 200 stands of companies that support the industry and other means of transport, such as VEAM trucks, Honda Bigbike, Dat Bike electric motorcycles and Dcar limousines.

Singapore is positioned as a potential market for Vietnam

Another special feature is the presence of various trending vehicles such as Yachting Vietnam’s Parker yacht and Airlios personal air vehicle.

In addition, this year’s Vietnam Motor Show promotes special performances and experiences, such as the Jeep Off-Road Driving Experience, the 2022 Subaru Russ Swift Stunt Show, and the Subaru Advanced Technology Drive (SATD).

In addition to enjoying these shows, visitors will be able to experience augmented reality (AR) technology and other interactive games.
